A wife threw dog poo at her husband and sent a naked picture of him to one of his employees after finding he had been paying for sex, a court heard.

Businesswoman Deborah Addams, 56, launched a campaign of harassment against Geoffrey Mylcrist when their marriage broke down in February 2015.

She told Folkestone magistrates the 11-year relationship ended when she found credit card statements for budget hotels and later a folder she said contained pictures of 200 prostitutes her husband had slept with.

Addams, who runs a Whitstable holiday home lettings firm, was convicted of harassment in July 2016 and given a restraining order, but she continued to bombard builder Mr Mylcrist with emails and text messages.

In two months alone she sent him 1,500 texts, questioning him about his “perverted” behaviour.

She also sent an “aroused” naked photograph of her ex-hus- band to one of his employees at the offices of Mylcrist Builders in Tankerton Road, Tankerton.

She told the court she had found the picture on his laptop.

Addams, who also threw dog poo at her ex-husband in January this year, denied harassment, assault, disclosing a sexual photograph and breaching a restrain- ing order, but was convicted of all charges at a trial on Thursday last week.

Speaking after, she said: “I never did deny any of it. I wanted to people to know what he had done. His actions have wrecked lives. Going to court is a therapy in itself. It has made me feel much better and had helped me heal, because this whole situation has made me unwell.

“I’m relieved that I’ve now become disassociated with him, and that I’m not cross any more.”

Addams will be sentenced at a later date, but was told she will not be jailed.
