“Every player worked hard for each other and we are lucky to have no weak links in our squad.”

Goal scorers were Kloee Worboyes ( 2), Libby Rowland ( 2), Jodie Cain (2), Ella Wilson and Tiegan Stevens.

Player - of - the- match was midfielder Cassia Pollard.

Faversham Strike Force Under16s took the bragging rights in their Kent Youth League derby on Sunday as they beat rivals Faversham Town 1-0.

The score did not reflect the dominance of the display as Strike Force struck the woodwork several times and were thwarted repeatedly by a Town keeper in inspired form.

The winner did not come until 20 minutes from time when Ben Treacher scored for the home side.

Josh Hall hit a hat-trick as Canterbury Eagles Under-13s came from behind to beat Thanet Colts 5-1 in their latest friendly.

Eagles went a goal down inside 10 minutes but they levelled before half-time when Kuame Clarke-hinds was played through by Dylan Saunders and his touch looped over the keeper.

Halls’ first of the game made it 2-1 and the same player struck again when he turned between two defenders to fire home.

Leandro Ramos scored the fourth from a Clarke-hinds cross before Monty Saunders played in Hall who finished well to complete his hat-trick.

Hall was named as manager’s man-of-the-match with Thomas Hayes getting the parents’ vote.
