Shopper yelled abuse

A man who hurled abuse at a woman as she finished her shopping in Waitrose is being hunted by police.

The suspect fled as staff and customers intervened at the supermarket in St George’s Place, Canterbury.

It happened at 2.30pm on Wednesday, October 11, but details have just emerged as police release CCTV. Anyone who recognises the man is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/49181/17, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
