Drugs seized

A stash of Class A drugs, cash and mobile phones has been seized by police from a house raid in Nunnery Fields, Canterbury, after the arrest of two men seen acting suspicious­ly in Canterbury Lane at 11pm on Saturday.

An Audi was stopped in the Nunnery Fields area and the driver and passenger were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.

At the house, officers found drugs and drug parapherna­lia, phones and cash.

The Audi driver, a 24-yearold man from Canterbury, was later released without charge.

His passenger, a 22-year-old man from the London area, was released without bail pending further inquiries.
