Highland folk band’s gig

Fiery Highland five-piece band Elephant Sessions will be performing as part of Canterbury Christ Church University’s Folk in the Barn.

The group, which fuses rich folk and trad influences with rock, funk and electronic­a, has performed internatio­nally and was recently nominated as Live Act of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards 2016. They will be appearing at Barista & Baker, CCCU SU, St George’s Place, on Sunday and will be supported by university students S3A, Eviette and Megan Wardroper.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
