Wallis claims third spot at Play-offs

Thirty ladies played in a Stable­ford and the winner by a coun­try mile was Mia Wadding­ham with carded an ex­cel­lent 41 points which re­sulted in her hand­i­cap be­ing cut to 19.

Sec­ond in Di­vi­sion 1 was Ann Mil­ner on count­back from Maz Gar­linge, after they had both scored 36 points.

The top-three places in Di­vi­sion 2 all had to be de­cided on count­back, with Mau­reen Dav­i­son, Jean Hud­son and Joyce Jaynes fin­ish­ing in that or­der after be­ing level on 33 points.

The next Stable­ford was tricky in the strong breeze but it turned into a pretty good day for the Tuck­ers.

Mum Louise was over­all and Di­vi­sion 1 winner with 34 points while daugh­ter Mil­lie was sec­ond in Di­vi­sion 2 with 31 points. Sec­ond and third re­spec­tively in Di­vi­sion 1 were Penny Perkins (32) and Mel Bash­ford (31) and Di­vi­sion 2 winner was Stella Lakin (32) with Madge Har­ris third (31).
