Missing teenager seen on CCTV in city
A teenage girl missing for almost two weeks has been seen on CCTV in Canterbury with a man.
Alex Willoughby, 17, disappeared from her mother’s home in Oxford on November 14, with police earlier saying they were extremely concerned for her welfare.
The CCTV images show her in Canterbury at 5.30pm last Thursday with the young man.
Sightings have been reported at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital and in St Radigunds Street.
Superintendent Joe Kidman said: “As well as Canterbury, Alex also has connections to other areas in Kent, specifically Faversham, Whitstable, Sandwich, Margate and Sheerness.
“I would urge residents to keep a look out for Alex and the man she is seen with in the CCTV. If you see them please contact police immediately.
“If anyone has any information about Alex’s whereabouts please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police inquiry centre on 101 and quote reference number 43170339604.
“If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
Alex is described as 5ft 7ins and slim with blonde wavy hair and blue eyes.
