Ladies record clean sweep Oyster IBC

Oyster ladies were in dominant form in their Kent League match at Sevenoaks winning on all rinks to secure a 158-90 aggregate victory. Pauline Hogston, Freda Clee, Barbara Grundy and Hilary Avis had the biggest win, 34-9, while Shirley Fey, Jacqueline Harvey, Elaine Milliner and Jan Allen won by 17 shots (28-11), and Ann Moon, Gloria Clark, Janet Pamphilon, Sylvia Whiting by 13 (29-16). The narrowest win was recorded by Sheila Tibby, Jan Whitbread, Sheila Bartholome­w and Yvonne Gambrill, who triumphed 25-23. The men won just one rink in their Kent League game at Ashford, gong down 136-91 overall.
