Class who came second and Picasso in third place. Friday March 15 is Red Nose Day and Briary School will be supporting it. The children may wear something red with their school uniform. Instead of spending money on a Red Nose and adding to the plastic pollution, the school will be painting children’s noses red for £1 and all the money will go to Comic Relief. There will also be a cake sale on the playground at 3.30pm. Reminders from Miss Grange: Thursday March 21 will be an SEN Coffee Morning and uniform sale straight after drop in the morning. Help to get this set up Wednesday afternoon and help on Thursday morning will be gratefully received. Also cake and uniform donations would be wonderful. Grandparents Coffee Club will be meeting 9am in the After School Club. It would be nice to see some new faces. Advance notice there will be an Easter Bonnet Parade for Key Stage 1 pupils on the last day of term, Friday April 5. St. Peters Church: Little Fishes, Fridays, 9.30am-12pm would like another helper or two. Could you spare a couple of hours to make coffee or just to chat to people. Please speak to Revd. Saturday March 16: Messy Church, 4-6pm. Crafts, games, stories & songs and a hot meal. Come and join us parent’s carer’s and children for a funpacked afternoon. Greenhill Senior Citizens: The club holds many daily activities, Monday-friday each week. Most start 10am except table tennis on Monday and that is 9.45am. These activities include kurling, darts, carpet bowls (bowls are provided), line dancing, sequence dancing and on Friday morning Heather’s exercise classes for the over 50s. (This is not club organized) and is only £4.25 and is open to all. Plus cards, crib and bingo sessions. Do come and support the Club in any way you can. Saturday March 16, bowls afternoon. Fish & chips to order for 12.30pm, normal bowling not fun bowling. Saturday March 16: Line dance social evening. Members £4, guests £6. Fish & chips to order. Parents and Toddlers: There is a warm welcome for preschool age children and their carers at the DCA Parent and Toddler group, Fridays, during term time, 9-10.30am, DCA Hall next to the village school.
