Enjoy Koh-i-noor’s dishes at home

With many people now staying indoors in light of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Koh-i-noor will be there for customers with it’s quality takeaway service.

And those who love quality Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine in Sheerness are especially in luck as Koh-i-noor remains open for both takeaway and delivery service.

Customers need only telephone (01795) 581600/664223.

“These are very trying times for us all but those dining at our restaurant or using our takeaway or delivery services can rest assured knowing that we uphold impeccable health and hygiene standards,” says owner Matizul Islam, who is this year celebrating 20 years since first opening the popular restaurant on Minster Road.

“We follow all the government guidelines because the wellbeing and safety of the customer comes first followed by our delivery of first class Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. “With Easter on the way, we will continue to be here with exciting new dishes that cater to all.”

For two decades, Koh-I-noor has been delighting islanders with its unique brand of Indian and Bangladeshi home-style cooking and has become affectionately known as the ‘Home of Exotic Spice’. “The dishes here are prepared in a manner reminiscent of the Mughal era in India and each dish is prepared specifically for your order and in strict conformity to its recipe,” continued Mr Islam.

“In traditional fashion, all baking of roti and bread and the barbecuing of poultry, meat and fish is done in a tandoori clay oven.

“We will also endeavor to prepare a dish for your request that might not appear on our selected menu. Our belief is that a truly fine meal is enjoyed not once but three times in anticipation, consumption and remembrance.” While the high quality of the food, service and atmosphere may stay the same, Koh-i-noor is always innovating.

Last year saw a brand new website that lets you order and pay online with those spending more than £15 on the website getting 10% off on deliveries and takeaway collections. If paying by card, delivery will be given only to the registered address of said debit/credit card.

The Koh-i-noor is located at 6a Minster Road, Halfway, Sheerness ME12.
