Charity walk

More than 130 Pilgrims Hospice supporters have walked the equivalent of the 88-mile Hadrian’s Wall Path. The initiative has raised more than £12,000 for the cash-strapped charity, which has had to cancel fundraisers and close charity shops due to Covid-19.

It has now launched a new challenge, which urges supporters to walk the equivalent of the 70-mile Isle of Wight Coastal Path. Visit www.pilgrimshospices. org/virtualhike to register.
