Bank on us
Bank users in Canterbury have raised more than £1,500 for End Youth Homelessness.
The Yorkshire Building Society branch in St Margaret’s Street, has helped the bank raise £1 million nationally - in a partnership which has helped hundreds of young people into their own rented homes.
The money has been raised through activities including staff fundraisers and public donations.
Nick Austin, manager of the Canterbury branch, said: “I want to thank everyone in the community here in Canterbury.
“This has enabled us to help hundreds of homeless young people move into their own homes and provided them with the support they need to rebuild their future.”
