One of the positive by-products of lockdown has been the impressive photographs people have been inspired to take and post on social media while out getting their daily exercise.

Now, the League of Friends of Kent and Canterbury Hospital is hoping to see some of that talent for a photographic fundraising competition, which the charity is launching next month.

There will be two age groups - for adults and under 18s - who are both invited to submit pictures for three categories buildings and architecture, flora and fauna and spring landscape.

Prizes will be awarded for the winner of each and the entry fee is £5 for one photo, £8 for two and £10 for three, but half price for under 18s.

The money raised will go towards helping the K&C and staff, including buying vital equipment. Entries should be emailed in jpg, bmd or pdf format to ekh-tr.leagueoffriends@ nhs.net.

The closing date for entries is March 31.

The competition winners will be announced on April 12 and posted on www. lofkch.org.uk
