Littlebour­ne and The Bull continue to battle for the Premier Division title after both sides won again on Saturday.

The Bull won the local derby with Faversham Athletic 4-1 on Saturday in a game that saw The Bull keeper Joe Cheeseman named man-of-the-match. Graham Hampton’s side netted through Tyla Clements, Sam Ryan, John Rich and a 40-yard effort from Lewis Pout.

Free -scoring Littlebour­ne returned to winning ways with an emphatic 12-1 win at University of Kent Monument. Robbie Loomer (4), Matt Martin (3), Danny Bangs (2), Liam Blackwell, Luke Hedges and Bert Wells were all on the scoresheet. Betteshang­er Welfare still have hopes of lifting the Division 1 title and a 7-1 win at home to The Bull Reserves kept them on track, Max Butcher (2), James Matthew (2), Travis Austin, Will Philpott and Jordan Jennings netted for George Revell’s side. AFC Herne had Bradley Prior on target but they went down 3-1 at home against Woodnesbor­ough Reserves.
