Wallace at the double in seven-goal thriller
Faversham Strike Force Women came from behind to win 4-3 at home to Barham. Only several saves from Shae Crawley kept the deficit to a single goal at half-time.
But Force were muchimproved after the break, and they won thanks to a Millie Wallace brace and goals from Emma Baker and Olivia Miller. Under-14 Lightning triumphed 7-0 in their cup clash against Deal Town Rangers. Gabriel Smith scored a hattrick, Jake Crawley netted from distance, Luke White curled a stunner into the top corner, Charlie Hope struck and skipper Dereck Olah rounded off the scoring. Defender Shane Chapman was named man-of-the-match. Toby Sears scored for under-12 Lightning against Ramsgate and Charlie-jack Hodgson’s was recognised as top player. Oscar Garsed notched a fine double for under-11 Hurricanes against Dawes Hernhill Herons. Ashley Back added another while defender Evan Pender wase named player-ofthe-match.
The under-10 Lionesses faced
Whitstable Town. Ocean Pankhurst was top player, scoring twice.
The under-10 girls Pumas battled hard against Woodpeckers Ladies and came close to scoring several times.
Under-9 Lightning played TSS with Sid Biscoe, Finn Crawley and man-of-the-match Kian Gardner all netting.
Zach Luong was top player for under-9 Thunder against Canterbury Eagles Saxons.
Alfie Bird saved a penalty twice for his team as Freddie Parker claimed their only goal. Oliver Mcdonald who was named best player after an energetic performance for under-9 Hurricanes against East Kent.
Under-8 Lightning battled hard against Ramsgate Black as player-of-the-match Charlie Starkey and Felix Ladd both scored.
Lenny Joe Boorman claimed a hat-trick for under-8 Thunder against Herne Bay Harriers with further goals coming from Ellison Sparks and manof-the-match Sonny-george Tumber.
