White strike a silver lining
Second-bottom Faversham Strike Force Women were beaten 8-1 by a strong Betteshanger Welfare side in South East Counties Kent Division 1 East. Emma White provided the high point with her first league goal for the club, while Debbie Burgess earned their player-ofthe-match award.

Will Jones assisted Archie Johnson’s opener before adding a second from Sam Lilley’s pass, with Sammy Laker claiming a third from a Jack Wyles corner. George Johnson was named player-of-the-match for his excellent work-rate. Under-12 Lightning lost to Snowdown, their strikes coming from Kailan Wallace and Albert Biscoe’s double. Ethan Whelan earned their player-of-the-match gong.
Under-11 Thunder were away to Ramsgate Purple in a very even contest. William Perkins created several chances for his team with Samuel Moffett getting on the scoresheet. Aubury Austen was brave in defence and Jayden Fryer was named top player on the day.
Late goals from Tyger Pharoah and Zakk Ellis - who rifled a half-volley into the top corner from the edge of the box - were under-11 Hurricanes’ reward for a determined performance against Baypoint. Goalkeeper Elijah Sparks was named player-of-the-match for a string of brave stops. Strike Force’s under-10 Lionesses had a tough match against Kings Hill with Carlyjayne Stebbeds named their top player.
Zach Luong scored twice in under-10 Thunder’s entertaining game against Tankerton. Oscar Connor reacted quickest at a corner to add a late third. Player-of-the-match Connor Reeves was exceptional in defence for under-7 Hurricanes against Herne Bay Harriers. Felix Redman claimed a brace, including one from distance, while Ethan Purcell also notched with a great halfvolley finish.
