What to expect as the original Billing Land Rover Show moves to its new home at Kelmarsh Hall

Live Promotions Events Ltd, the biggest organisers of Land Rover shows in the UK, has announced a new home for the Original Billing Land Rover Show, namely Kelmarsh Hall. Located just a few miles away from the Billing Aquadrome with fabulous access off the A14, the new venue offers a fantastic opportunity for growth.

With the big show set for the long weekend of July 21, 22 and 23 July, increased space at Kelmarsh will allow for more dramatic arena displays and attractions, with additional room available for club displays, camping and trade stands.

The move to Kelmarsh came after Billing’s owners decided they needed more static caravans, but it has been welcomed by visitors and traders alike, with more than 50 exhibitors already confirmed. Among others, Flatdog UK, Duckworth Parts, Bell Auto Services, Alive Tuning, Goodwinch, Maverick 4x4, 1948 Original Equipment and Griffin Performance, and the majority of autojumble stands are already booked in.

LRM will also be exhibiting at the event and we plan to have a large stand at the heart of the showground, so swing by for a chat with the LRM team.

Kelmarsh will, of course, feature an exciting new off-road course. Calling upon his knowledge of exciting locations in Pyrenees, Spain, Croatia/bosnia, Austria and Morocco, Vince Cobley of Protrax will be designing the route utilising the natural terrain of a 30-acre area of forest that has been specially set aside for the development. The course will include two areas: a woodland safari drive featuring small camel humps, axle twisters and side slopes; and an adventure section which will incorporate drops, climbs and technical segments.

With Live Promotions’ years of experience and marketing reach, the event promises to be big hit at its new home. Based on the response so far, Events Director Tom Siddall is confident: “The move has been well received by all and what’s most pleasing is the level of bookings coming in from foreign enthusiasts who attend the event religiously every year,” he told us.
