CLASSIC LAND ROVER SHOW
The hugely popular Classic Land Rover Show is returning to the British Motor Museum once again for 2017. Make a note in your diary now for the weekend of 6-7 May, as plans are afoot to bring the very finest vehicles, owners and historians together as the show takes a look back at the history of Land Rover.
With all vehicle crews – whether you’re unofficially or officially displaying with a club – invited to dress according to the year of their vehicle, this will be a year to remember. There will be prizes for the best turned out and judges will be looking for authenticity and attention to detail... both of owners and vehicles.
Along with fabulous displays, live music, guest speakers and commentary provided by renowned compère Diana Tigwell, the show organisers are also looking for teams to enter The Land Rover Academician of the Year Award... a fun quiz which will see teams battling with Land Rover knowledge, hosted by LRM’S very own Dave Barker.
The Classic Land Rover Show is an absolute must for all Land Rover fans, and with a chance for youngsters to participate in the Mini Me parade again, a line-up of mini vintage and modern Land Rovers, it is a weekend for the entire family to enjoy.
Visitors will also be able to visit the Museum and Collections centre which is home to a wide range of Land Rovers.
Ticket prices are £14 for adults, £9 for children (5-16 years) while a family of five costs £39. Discounted advance tickets are available online which includes camping passes at £25 per pitch for two nights.
