GREY DAYS

IS IT my imagination, or has the world gone monochrome? It seems these days that every Land Rover has to be black, white, grey or silver. Just flick through any recent issue of LRM and you’ll see them everywhere – and especially on recent models.

What happened to the days when most Land Rovers were green or, failing that, blue or red? Early Range Rovers came in more exotic shades, too. I wonder how many buyers of the latest Range Rover would opt for Yellow or Gold, for example?

Your latest issue of LRM (July) looked promising, with a front cover featuring a mustard yellow Defender and an orange G4 Discovery 3, which was very refreshing. Keep up the good work and let’s hope we will see more colourful Land Rovers in the future. Jenny Cordell Wimbledon
