MARCH 17– 18
Wessex Wanderer Tour Atlas Overland are running a two-day 4x4 Adventure Tour on March 17–18, a journey across BOAT (Byways Open to All Traffic) approved byways and roads of the ancient land of Wessex. Following our ancestors’ footprints you will see ancient stone circles, barrows and hill forts.
The route will cover between 50 and 70 miles each day and the campsite used for both nights has great facilities with a licenced restaurant serving evening meals and breakfast. Full details of this and other 4x4 Adventure Tours can be found on

4x4 & Vintage Spares Day Having been held twice a year since 2009 the Ripon 4x4 and Vintage Spares Day held at Ripon Racecourse is long established and well supported by both trade and public. This year’s first 4x4 and vintage spares day takes place on Sunday March 18, with the second day taking place later in October. The 4x4 and Vintage Spares Day opens to the public at 9.00 am, admission is £4 (under 15s free). Details and trade stand booking forms can be found on 4x4sparesday.co.uk.

Land Rover Defender Day Celebrate all that is the Land Rover Defender from the Series I to the latest model and everything in between at the Land Rover Defender Day at Pentillie Castle in Cornwall on April 8 (11 am to 4 pm).
Activities on the day include the Ultimate Land Rover Display, 4x4 off-road course through the woods of the Pentillie Estate and – new for 2018 – the Sleeper Challenge. Also expect autojumbles and a variety of local trade stands, entertainment for all the family, plus delicious food offerings. Tickets are £20 per vehicle in advance, £30 on the day.

Annual Easter Interclub The Essex Land Rover Club is holding its Annual Easter Interclub Event at Gateway, Thurrock, from Friday to Sunday with a Tyro, RTV and CCV Trial. More info and entry forms on the club’s Facebook page and elrc.info.

Easter at Eastnor Midland Rover Owners Club will be camping in Eastnor Castle Deer Park near Ledbury over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The club will be running a RTV, CCV and Tyro Trail on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday respectively. Details are available on mroc.co.uk.
MARCH 30 – APRIL 2
Easter at Early Farm The Southern Rover Owners Club Easter event takes place near Wadhurst in East Sussex over the weekend March 30 to April 2. There will be a CCV Trail on the Friday, followed by an RTV and a JTV Trial on Saturday, as well as a Tyro Trial on Monday April 2.
