MY FAVOURITE

lrtmms: I don’t have one favourite. I prefer classics but eventually the D5 and Velar will grow on me. Can’t wait to buy one in 30 years time lrtseriesiiiffr: My ultimate would be a Stage I V8 SWB but they are rare. My favourite Defender would be an African Bmw-powered petrol like @busheditor mattildas_journey: A Series 1 80in with (controversially) the lights through the grille. They’re just so cute! But I’d love a Carawagon too, as I enjoy camping. lewys_landrover_page: I would have to say FC101. Always loved them. Close second is a 107in Station Wagon. big_gilby: I struggle to pick a favourite because all Land Rovers are beautiful in their own way. blackb200d1: V8. Loved that beast. Lots of happy memories. theclassicseries: For me it has to be the

Queen’s old black V8 110. Awesome looks, some great regal upgrades and owned and driven by the Queen for many years. Chazadagreat: For me it’s my Disco 2. I show it no love in the lanes and yet it keeps on pulling like a trooper. It’s unstoppable!

falks_and_fred: An early Defender – they are like a Labrador: So long as you feed them copious amounts of food and look after them with annual check-ups, they will keep you happy for at least 12 years. blackflagdive: NAS 110. rick_mason: Most definitely my Series I 80-inch. I’ve had it since I was 14. MY FIRST

jackuar_land_rover: It was when my dad arrived home one day in a Series III County. It had a huge bull bar and obligatory non-operational spotlights. I

loved it! manly_collective: Mine was in the Australian army at the wheel of a Perentie. Those things copped some real abuse but just seemed to keep on going. I still remember the terrible turning circle!

stephenhuntnz: Aged 5, my dad brought home one of the University of Otago’s fleet of three 1957 107in Station Wagons. I loved it so much I slept in the back that night. I now own that very same vehicle and drive it most days! lewys_landrover_page: My first Land Rover experience was seeing a Series I 107in in the Victorian High Country in 1988. The owner used the radiator overflow bottle to cook his tin of baked beans so his dinner was ready when he got to camp. modellandroversoffroad: It was with my dad when I was 11. He used to look after a Series III for a man down the road who only used it for taking his dogs out. That experience inspired me. Hopefully I will own a Land Rover one day.
