From UK greenlanes to the desert dunes of Morocco and the Balkans, it all takes time to prepare and plan, but fortunately we can take away all that stress and you can rest assured it will be left in the hands of experts. All you have to do is arrive in your Land Rover and the LRM Tours team will take care of the rest.
The tours listed on these pages cater for everyone: simply pick a place and we will take you there. We have camping-only trips and hotel accommodation for those who prefer a bit of luxury.

The Alps (one week, hotel)
The Alps 4x4 Tour is quite a trip, with four days of off-road tracks which ascend the peaks, take you through tunnels, track high mountain paths and pass Napoleonic Forts as we travel the Fort Central Route and negotiate the Salt Road along the Italian border.
You’ll get the chance to drive some of the most amazing roads in Europe. Including the Col Du Galibier, famous for its part in the Tour Du France; the Col De La Bonette, the highest tarmac road in Europe and, of course, the Col De Turini, the Monte Carlo Rallye stage and voted by Top Gear as one
of the top ten roads in the world! What more could you ask for?
As always in Europe, there will be no more than five participating cars.
Alongside the natural beauty there are many historic towns, bridges and churches, particularly when we follow the ancient routes. Don’t forget your camera – we’re always sure to stop and take time to admire our stunning surroundings.
August 25 - September 2: All hotels and ferry crossing included, costs £2500.
Pyrenees (one or two weeks, hotel)
All include the ferry from the UK to Santander. Start and end in Portsmouth.
WEEK ONE: Aragon and Navarra
This is a tour of contrasts. Starting in the forested area around the ancient pilgrim town of St Jean Pied de Port, the route goes through the desert, where we stay in a truly extraordinary location, before continuing through a landscape littered with ancient castles, tracks and bridges over precipitous gorges to reach our final destination. Here we celebrate our arrival by dining in one of the many restaurants around the medieval square in Ainsa.
If you want a trip that has great variation, then this is the one for you, as the terrain ranges from dry desert plains and soaring peaks, smoothed by countless centuries of wind, to tracks through dense forest and the rural foothills of an area steeped in history.
Alongside the natural beauty there are many historic towns, bridges and churches, particularly when we follow the ancient pilgrim routes. While this is a holiday all about driving, we will always take time to park up and admire a good view, and this trip offers them in abundance.
WEEK TWO: Les to Andorra
Our High Pyrenees 4x4 Tour is where you get to climb mountains with your 4x4 and enter Andorra via the Smuggler’s Route, renowned as one of the best 4x4 tracks in Europe.
Our route takes us high into the mountains, sometimes tracking the piste runs for the ski resorts and ascending to heights where you can look down on the top lift.
There is always the chance that, at high altitude, snow may block our way – however there are always alternative routes that add to the adventure!
Alongside the mountains and the high passes – the Col de Meners, Pic d’orrie, Col de l’exoil and the Col de Varrados to name just a few – the tracks pass through a vast variety of ever-changing landscapes from picturesque meadows to forests and rough tracks. WEEK ONE ONLY: October 6 – 14, Aragon and Navarra, costs £2350. WEEK TWO ONLY: October 13 – 21, Les to Andorra, costs £2350. FULL FORTNIGHT: October 6 – 21, costs £3350.
Join us on one of our Highlight UK Treks
We travel from the East Coast, meeting at Boggle Hole near Whitby, then onto the Yorkshire Moors for day one, the Yorkshire Dales for day two, Westmoreland on day three, finishing with two days in the Lake District.
DECEMBER 29 – 30: Christmas Blast, beat those post Christmas blues with our two-day special in the Lake District, £180 for both days. NOVEMBER 21 – 25: Coast-to-coast, costs £400 for five days or £90 for any single day.
Prices are for a vehicle with driver and one passenger – twin/double room bed and breakfast and all ferries when on hotel trips.
For camping trips price includes all campsite charges, and for the Morocco camping trip includes the ferry from Algeciras across to Morocco.
