August 18 – 27 Charity Land Rover Tour

The Cornwall Land Rover Tour is a Land Rover Charity Event that will take place over ten days in several locations through Cornwall with the aim of raising money for three local charities. The tour starts in Launceston and finishes at Pentille Castle with four stops and two nights of camping at locations around Cornwall. Optional days out are being organised in each of the four areas for those taking part, or you can go and explore Cornwall and have your own adventure.

Wye & Welsh LRC are running their annual Baskervill­e Challenge Bank Holiday Interclub at Baskervill­e Hall, Hay-on-wye. The campsite opens on Friday 24 and is followed by the RTV Trial on Saturday and the CCV Trial on Sunday. There is also a Tyro Trial running on all three days and a Timed Trial will take place on the Monday. Details, regulation­s and booking forms can be found on the Wye & Welsh LRC website.

The annual Eckington Interclub weekend run by Peak & Dukeries LRC is taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend at Eckington in Derbyshire. Competitiv­e events start with the CCV Trial on Saturday, the the RTV Trial and the night Comp Safari on Sunday followed by the day Comp Safari on Monday. North Wales Land Rover Club’s Bank Holiday Interclub has a new venue this year and has moved from Anglesey back onto the mainland at Brynteg near Llanfair. The Interclub will have all the normal facilities on the campsite, mains water, flushing toilets, marquee and food and drink. The competitiv­e events start with the RTV and CCV Trial on the Saturday, the Tyro and Bike Trial on Sunday, followed by the Comp Safari on the Monday. nwlrc.co.uk August 25 – 27 Leafers At T’ Pit

Leafers At T’ Pit, the Series Land Rover Gathering organised by members of the Seriously Series Land Rover Forum, takes place again this year over the bank holiday weekend August 25 to 27 at the National Coal Mining Museum, Wakefield. All leaf-sprung Land Rovers are welcome and attraction­s include a vehicle line-up and autojumble­rs. To show your vehicle you simply turn up on the day in a leaf-sprung Land Rover and pay at the gate. Camping is available on site from the Friday for exhibitors only.
