Land Rover reveal new Range Rover Evoque Autobiography and Discovery Sport ranges
THE Range Rover Evoque is now even more sophisticated and digitally connected with the introduction of the new Autobiography. The flagship edition features distinctive exterior design accents, a luxurious interior and a choice of new powerful and efficient mild-hybrid engines, including a plug-in-hybrid version for those after a more sustainable, efficient SUV.
Following the launch of the P300e plug-in hybrid earlier this year, additional new engine options are now available for the Evoque. These include two updated, efficient next-generation four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engines both featuring Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology. Using a belt-driven starter motor and battery pack, MHEV vehicles harvest energy normally lost under deceleration, feeding back to the vehicle’s 48 volt battery to boost the performance and deliver enhanced fuel economy. With 163 hp and 197 hp, these engines are more powerful than the ones they replace while boasting better CO2 and fuel economy. A wide selection of additional petrol engines are also available with P200, P250 and P300 options, all fitted with MHEV technology.
