I do realise that what I am about to say may be considered blasphemy by some Landy fans. Is there any chance that you will be covering the INEOS Grenadier at some point? I know it isn’t a Land Rover product but it looks more like a Defender than JLR’S latest version. From what little I’ve heard, it is to have a utilitarian, hard-wearing interior and promises to be a sturdy off-road workhorse. I believe it is to have a range of petrol and diesel engines by BMW.
I am curious to hear what others have to say about it, especially as the new Defender seems aimed towards the Chelsea Tractor types.

Patrick replies: We did devote a whole page to the INEOS Grenadier and used a small pic of it on our September cover. For some reason that issue sold really well. We are watching developments with great interest. It also has more in common with the old Defender than shape – and that BMW straight-six petrol engines, like my own 110.
