1999, Defender 110 Td5, 142,500 miles, set of Nankang Mudstar Radial M/T tyres (33x12.50 R15LT), enlarged coil springs, snorkel removed, fittings remain. Included in the sale are two custom-made 24 mm thick (570 x 1280 mm) oiled marine plywood sheets and three 100 x 50 mm oiled struts w/brackets that together form an amazing sleeping platform. 5 speed manual gearbox, Land Rover lifting jack (Coram) plus supplied tyre spanner and chocks, a foot pump included, Bluetooth audio receiver and speakers all working, 2 x 5 W USB ports, battery voltage indicator, Haynes Owner's manual included. Considerab­le work has been done on this truck over the past two years amounting to £6500 of maintenanc­e, additions and removals. New wiper motor fitted, new wiper spindles and arms, new clutch cylinders, new steering armature, new alternator, new alpine window seals, ball and pin towing hitch coupling 3500 kg towing jaw has been fitted. The following has been maintained/resolved: Handbrake failed, repaired; Corroded brake pipes/fittings replaced and repaired; The transfer box – an integral part of the off=road capability – failed on an off-road trip and has been replaced with a new transfer box (£875); Rust in the normal places and needs a re-paint. Consider the exterior body a blank canvas, ready to add your own personal touch to this capable truck. Truck has been a prop in a movie and had armour and camouflage riveted to its body, rivet holes have been sanded back to surface aluminium and filled appropriat­ely. The exterior colour was originally a Land Rover Chawton White, but during its movie career the rear had been painted red and the rest of the vehicle a matte, off-white.
