Despite this vehicle looking very smart on top, we’ve seen that there is potentially a lot of work to be done. In this case, where the owner has decided to have the chassis replaced, it makes sense to carry out other repairs while the vehicle is dismantled and access is good, so all this needs to be factored in when assessing the time and costs involved. Next month we’ll begin detaching the Defender body from the rolling chassis.
