Cosy knitted egg covers

Tiny hats knitted in natural yarn create rustic cosies for a breakfast favourite

-

s imple and charming egg cosies are knitted using In the Wool Shed’s hand-dyed yarn. Contrasting colours are chosen to make two cosies in a complementary design. The wool, spun from the fleeces of the Lleyn sheep at the Warwickshire farm enterprise, has an earthy texture. Its subtle shades are created by hand in the dye studio using only natural ingredients. They are designed to fit snugly over a medium-sized hen’s egg to keep it warm.
