Protecting the landscape
Using seashells as candle holders (March/April 2017 issue) is a lovely use for ones already collected. Readers should, however, be reminded of the old adage “take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints”. In today’s environmentally-conscious world, we need to ensure landscapes remain as untouched as possible, so others, including future generations, can also enjoy them.
