Win caps off strong debut

AN ESTATE agent has topped off a successful first year in business with a major industry award win.

Karen Baggaley Premier Estates, in Endon, was launched in September last year by mortgage expert Karen Baggaley.

Now the business has been recognised by the British Property Awards 2018 as the best estate agency in Stoke-on-trent North.

Karen said: “The main challenge for me was actually getting the business up and running – once that was sorted we just took everything day by day.

“We are helping to sell people’s biggest asset and so customers have got to have confidence in us, but we are building a reputation as a company which does a good job.

“It has been a really enjoyable year for me. We have gone from strength-tostrength.”

Karen added: “The first time I knew about the award was when I answered the phone and was told we were among the top three, then we obviously went on to get the gold award.

“Over a number of months we were ‘mystery shopped’ by representatives from the awards and we excelled in all 25 areas, from answering the telephone to liaising with customers.

“Now there’s a chance we can go through to the national awards, we are delighted.”
