Oakamoor are champions as Endon sign off with a victory

Division Three

CHAMPIONS ENDON beat Crewe in their final fixture.

Jason Morris blazed 10 fours and 10 sixes in his 65-ball 113 as Endon amassed 238-4. Will Weston added 50 not out, with Andrew Sibley adding 39. Nick Lange (3-55) was the pick of the Crewe attack.

Martin Dawson (60) and Farhar Ul Islam (47) were in good touch after tea, but three wickets apiece from Marlon Martin (3-58) and Jack Bourne (3-69) ensured Crewe were all out for 167.

Rode Park & Lawton signed off with an easy win at home against CHECKLEY SECONDS.

Aidan Mcguire’s 80 was ably supported by Lewis Bent’s 45 as Rode Park struck 195-7 declared on the board, Brendan Lovatt claimed 3-32.

Checkley disappoint­ed in their run chase and were bundled out for 90. Mcguire completed a fine individual day by taking 5-33.

OAKAMOOR were grateful for the rain running their match against Kidsgrove.

Oakamoor were rocking on 35-8 when the players were left scurrying to the pavilion for the final time.

Rich Hagan took 4-20 and Adeel Khalid claimed 3-13 to leave Grove in a commanding position.

Division Four

HEM Heath thirds were relegated after losing by three wickets to promoted CHEADLE.

Hem Heath put up a valiant fight to stay in the division as they amassed 169-8 from 41 overs.

John Seabridge (48), Seb Lewis (39) and Sam Atkinson (33) shone with the bat to give the home side a defendable total.

Johnathan Clowes and Jack Winfield picked up 3-27 and 3-51 respective­ly.

Cheadle, who finished the season in second place. were indebted to Jack Degg’s unbeaten 55, 49 from Clowes and Sam Rushton’s 41 for seeing them to their target.

Atkinson and Chris Wright both claimed double strikes, but it wasn’t enough to save Hem Heath.

Division Five

THE match between LEEK SECONDS and Onneley & Maer was called off with no play because of the weather.

Division Six

CAVERSWALL had made their way to 45-3 from 10.5 overs at Kidsgrove when play was abandoned because of the weather. Hugh Binns took 3-35.

Division Seven

OAKAMOOR were crowned champions following their eightwicke­t win at Stone SP fourths.

Stone SP made their way to 149-5, but it was no challenge for the tabletoppe­rs.

ENDON won a low-scoring encounter at LEIGH.

Dan Shelley’s 38 was the main contributi­on to Endon’s 94 all out as Greg Faulkner took 4-32 and Tom Gallimore picked up 3-25.

It was enough for victory, though, as Leigh were bowled out for 76 in reply.

Faulkner made 24, but Shelley’s 6-37 and Steven Joddrell’s 4-15 settled the issue.

Division Eight

OAKAMOOR THIRDS were 62-0 at Checkley when play was called off because of the weather. Rob Pearson was 42 not out.

Sandbach thirds’ home game against Meakins fourths didn’t even start due to the inclement conditions.
