‘We can’t wait to see you all’ – tearoom reopens, and B&B also taking bookings
A STAFFORDSHIRE tearoom has reopened.
The White Hart Tearoom, on Stockwell Street, Leek, reopened yesterday after being closed since March due to the coronavirus lockdown.
The tearoom will be operating from 8.30am until 2pm Tuesday-sunday,
Moorlands and will be closed on Mondays. The White Hart’s sandwich bar will be running its usual menu between 8.30am and 2pm seven days a week after reopening this coming Tuesday while the B&B is open and people are being urged to make bookings.
The tearoom will be operating on a ‘first come, first served’ basis - with the hours likely to change as the current situation develops further.
The White Hart will be delivering pre-booked afternoon teas but won’t be offering other deliveries - except for customers with special arrangements in place.
Announcing their plans online the tearoom said: “At this worrying time we expect that plans will change, potentially at short notice but we’ve got to start somewhere. We can’t wait to see you all.”
Like other establishments the tearoom will be retaining customer information for 21 days. People will also be asked to pay after ordering at their tables.
