A FEW weeks have past since my last report and the Government has eased a few more things that we are allowed to do.

Football has started behind closed doors but it’s not the same as being there, it’s even different watching it on the television with the crowd noise and empty seats. But households can put their own crowd control into the game.

Some sports have only just been given the green light to play such as cricket or other team sports and swimming clubs are eager to take up the challenge also.

Most sports are suffering through this pandemic, but we all must stay alert in doing what we all may enjoy. Indoor sports have even had to take a back seat.

People that been doing more walking around the countryside and cycling have enjoyed some great weather over recent weeks, this week is cool and becoming wet yet again for the weekend.

More shops have been able to open, the pubs and restaurants have opened their doors to the general public from July 4. But caution must be observed if there is groups of people about, it was not nice to see and read that the police and other services were in the thick of it yet again with some unruly antics of the minority yet again, please enjoy yourself, but respect others, 44,000 people in England have lost their lives to this dreadful virus and only last weekend nine new cases had been confirmed in the Moorlands.

That is nine too many, please be careful at what you do and the places you go, 500,000 people in the world have suffered through this terrible disease.

I know of some people that are looking to book summer holidays, but not everyone has that same confidence in the outside world.

And not all countries are allowing visitors from the UK but things may change and over the weekend some countries have gone back into lock down locally because of an upsurge in the virus. Over the recent weeks we have seen demonstrations taking place and people flocking to the beaches, social distancing just went out of the window.

We have not been through months of lockdown to give it all up for something like this.

Families have been given the chance to meet up with friends and relations in their own bubble, seems strange that we have to be associated with a bubble to see who we have missed the most, when you get that opportunity take it and cherish it.

Look after one another and lets beat this virus together. Stay Safe.
