Appeal after death of bubbly six-year-old

-

A Fund-raising appeal launched after the death of a ‘bubbly’ sixyear-old girl has raised more than £6,000.

Sharlotte Naglis, right, was pronounced dead after being hit by a car while walking with her dad on Endon Road, in Norton Green, at around 7.15pm on Saturday.

Sharlotte’s dad also received treatment at the scene.

Now her uncle Scott Reynolds has started an online appeal and all the money raised will go directly to his sister and Charlotte’s mum Claire Naglis.

It was launched with a fundboy raising target of £10,000 – and raised £6,370 in less than 24 hours.

It will be put towards Sharlotte’s funeral and a memorial.

Scott wrote: “Sharlotte was only six when her dreams got crushed on 19 June.

“At 7.15pm a car came onto the pavement, killed Sharlotte instantly.

“Her family want to live up to Sharlotte’s dream, she always said ‘Mummy if I die and I’m with the angels looking after you, can I go up like a princess with horses?.’ “Please donate so we can live up to her legacy and one of her thousands of dreams.

“This happy, smiley bubbly little girl was the light of so many lives and so very loved by all her family and friends.”

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision, and in particular anyone who saw a blue Skoda Rapid in the area.

Anyone with information on the incident should call 101, via social media, or email ciu@staffordshire. pnn.police.uk, quoting incident 716 of June 19.
