The property portfolio of ex-Norton boss for sale at over £13m

DONINGTON HALL AMONG BUILDINGS NOW ON THE MARKET

PROPERTIES previously owned by the ex-Norton Motorcycle­s boss have been put up for sale by administra­tors.

Some of the buildings owned by Stuart Garner have been put on the market by estate agency Sanderson Weatherall.

The company been appointed by administra­tor BDO to market the portfolio of Donington Hall Estates.

Norton, which is based at Donington Hall site, has been sold to Indian motorcycle maker TVS Motor Company.

BDO is looking to offload the properties.

The portfolio includes Donington Hall, the Priest House Hotel, which has recently been operated by Legacy

Hotels since going into administra­tion, Hastings House, The Lansdowne Buildings and Kings Mills Caravan

Park, all set in more than 80 acres.

According to Sanderson Weatherall, which is marketing the entire portfolio with a guide price of just over £13 million, there is planning consent in place for a substantia­l extension to Priest House Hotel.

A developmen­t of woodland lodges within the site has also been given the go ahead.
