Marina move completed
BUILDER’S NEW OFFICES DELAYED BY PANDEMIC
DEVELOPER Springbourne Homes has unveiled a new headquarters at Bosworth Marina.
The housebuilder has moved into a 2,000 square foot custom-designed office space in a sustainable, ecofriendly building.
Springbourne sealed the deal for the space in February but coronavirus meant it could not redesign, equip and open it until now.
Chairman Adrian Burr said: “We’re delighted as our new office puts us in the heart of the community in an area which has always been a very important part of our business.
“It’s a tremendous location in a sustainable eco-building alongside Ashby Canal with the benefit of panoramic, countryside views giving us a light, bright and quiet working environment.
“What’s more, our Hornsey Rise development is just five minutes away and our new, in-house design centre allows us to guide clients through all the important decisions concerning their new home. Buyers can go through all the options regarding fixtures and fittings.
“They can even enjoy a computergenerated, virtual tour of their new home before it’s even completed.”
The timber-clad, eco building uses sustainable energy to provide underfloor heating, with filtered canal water pumped through underfloor pipes to heat and cool the office.
Chief executive Lee Harris said: “Our marina office delivers an agile home where we can work flexibly from private offices or at open-plan desks, where we can hold meetings in the boardroom, or even alfresco.”
