HEALTH bosses are hosting a series of online events to help people find out more and ask questions about its £450 million plans for acute hospital and maternity services in Leicester, Leicesters­hire and Rutland.

The public consultati­on was launched at the end of last month and runs until December21.

The consultati­on events will take place using Microsoft Teams, and there is an option to listen in by phone for people who cannot join online.

There are three types of event. Public events, offering the chance to ask questions, are due to take place on:

■ ■November 12 (7pm-8.30pm)

■ ■November 21 (2pm-3.30pm)

■ ■November 27 (10am-11.30am)

■ ■December 2 (7pm-8.30pm)

■ ■December 12 (2pm-3.30pm)

■ ■December 13 (2pm-3.30pm) Question and answer panel sessions, to which only typed questions can be submitted, will take place on:

■ ■ October 29 (10am-11.30am)

■ ■ December 7 (7pm-8.30pm) Workshops for up to 15 people, each focusing on a particular topic, will take place on:

■ October 26 (6pm-7.30pm) general discussion, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General

■ ■ November 9 (11am-12.30pm) general discussion, carers and maternity

■ ■ November 18 (6pm-7.30pm) maternity, Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General

■ ■ November 19 (6pm-7.30pm) general discussion, Leicester Royal Infirmary and the children’s hospital

■ ■ November 23 (6pm-7.30pm) general discussion, Glenfield Hospital, and Leicester Royal Infirmary
