Dewsbury-Hall winning more plaudits from Hatters boss
LEICESTER City academy graduate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has received yet more plaudits for his performances at Luton Town, writes Amie Wilson.
The 22-year-old is spending the season on loan at Kenilworth Road in order to gain more first-team experience after spending the second half of last season on loan at Blackpool.
Dewsbury-Hall has quickly established himself as a key member of Nathan Jones’ squad, impressing Hatters’ fans in his first few appearances for the club.
He has since started nine of the last 10 Championship games, including the full 90 minutes of the weekend’s 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.
Jones was again full of praise for the player’s performance.
“Who recruited him? Great recruitment. That’s all I can say,” Jones told LutonToday.
“He’s doing what we thought he’d do, an outstanding young player, one we’re very happy to have, coupled with Pelly-Ruddock (Mpanzu) as Pelly-Ruddock was outstanding.”
But it was not only DewsburyHall’s manager who was impressed by the midfielder.
“He’s all right isn’t he, he’s not bad at football is he?” said teammate James Shea. “He’s been absolutely class since he’s come in and long may it continue for him.
“He’s been one of our best players this season, he’s big for us, we’ve got to keep him fit, look after him.
“It’s his first season of Championship football as well, he’s showing what he can do, he’s a very, very good player, so long may it continue for us.”
Dewsbury-Hall is next in action for Luton against Reading on Boxing Day.
