Can you help Peter find his buttons?

-

ARE you ready for a family nature adventure? If the answer is yes, then from now until the end of January, the National Trust is inviting you to join in some very special winter adventure activity trails at more than 80 gardens and parklands in the UK.

Peter Rabbit and his friends are getting ready for winter, and they need help to solve a series of puzzles and dilemmas so they can get through the colder months.

Peter Rabbit’s lost his buttons, Benjamin Bunny’s turnips have rolled away and Jemima Puddleduck needs help building her nest.

All families need to do is get an activity pack from the National Trust and use keen detective skills to help out their favourite Beatrix Potter characters and, by following the trail and solving the clues, they can earn their trail badge and certificate.

There will be nature-themed active challenges along the way, as well as a Peter Rabbit selfie station (share your pic on social media using #PeterRabbitTrail).

It costs £2 per trail pack plus normal admission, and pre-booking is required to visit some National Trust places, so check the property webpage for details about restrictions.

You can also find out more with the National Trust’s downloadable activity packs which include puzzles, things to make and fun ideas to spark your imagination.

There will eventually be five activity packs to download so you can create a winter decoration, colour in wintry scenes and cook up some heartwarming recipes as well as learn about nature. You can go to nationaltrust.org. uk/ for details.
