ASHLey Wright, owner of pops and Dudes has grown her small business from a hobby to a phenomenal success.

Since most of the high street shops have been shut for a year it seems people are finding themselves searching for businesses a little closer to home.

Mrs Ashley Wright from Humberstone Leicester set up her business from home 3 years ago. ‘Pops and Dudes’ is named after her two daughters nicknames, Lola [pops] and Daisy [Dudes].

It started out as a hobby making items in the evenings once she had finished work but this hobby soon grew and Ashley decided to quit her job and go for it. “I had to make the decision to quit my job. It was a major decision for me but I can hand on heart say that I’ve never looked back”. The phenomenal success of

Pops and Dudes means Ashley now runs her business full time. She has been featured in Tatler Magazine and is now a proud partner of Not on The High Street.

Pops and Dudes designs and makes personalised dummy clips and teething toys all made from Silicone and wood. All items have been independently tested in a UKAS accredited test house to the highest safety standards, making the items safe but oh so cute.

“When I started this hobby I could only ever dream that it would become this successful. It started out in my bedroom to now having my own office and running a busy business full time” says Ashley. Designer, maker, packer, poster and marketer Ashley does it all at Pops and Dudes.

“I feel very blessed that all my hard work has paid off and every morning that I walk into my office I feel so lucky to be able to do something that I absolutely love”
