INNTOHVEAHTIOUNSAEWARDS 2021

-

DID you develop a digital product this year that sets itself apart from the rest? Were you impressed by a training programme that broke ground? Which dynamicthinker has achieved something that is truly breath-taking?

We want to hear who deserves to win one of our 13 awards, but be quick as entries close this Friday, April 9.

There is no doubt that everyone had to adapt this past year. Whether it was working from home or wearing face masks, daily life changed dramatically.

We have all struggled with this “new normal”, but behind the scenes there were local geniuses intent on helping us all adjust and regain some normalcy.

Inventing technology to keep businesses operating and developing products to keep us safe, these are people who helped our region succeed in one of our darkest years.

All champions in their own right, the LeicestershireLive Innovation Awards will show how much we all admire their hard work.

On June 24, the LeicestershireLive Innovation Awards will be streamed via The Awards Room.

This year’s awards have three headline sponsors: Morningside Pharmaceuticals, De Montfort University and the University of Leicester. These local institutions are hubs of innovation in themselves, sharing their ingenuity with the region and further afield. From manufacturing invaluable medicines to nurturing the next generation of talent, our headline sponsors show the remarkable work that people do every day.

We might all have the means for innovative thinking, but being able to harness, evolve and bring ideas into fruition is a remarkable feat.

More than just coming up with a concept, those who have the fortitude to continue when times get tough are deserving of commendation. It is often overlooked that successful innovation takes determination, ambition and belief, but that is what our awards are for.

Enter now to be part of the celebrations and have your brilliant work appreciated.
