OUTDOOR ATTRACTIONS CAN OPEN FROM MONDAY: HERE ARE SOME TO VISIT
ATTRACTIONS such as zoos and theme parks are able to reopen from Monday.
Here are some that are planning to do so:
Windmill Farm Park, Kibworth
Visitors can see outdoor animals, including a new herd of miniature horses, and use the outdoor play areas, and Brian’s Wood. Visits must be booked. Park memberships have been extended.
Twycross Zoo
Indoor areas have to remain closed for the time being, including indoor animal viewing areas, cafes and soft play.
Conkers, Moira
Tickets are now available to book via the website, and all memberships have been extended by 95 days.
Manor Farm Park and Woodlands, East Leake
All visitors, including annual pass holders, need to book via the website.
Tropical Birdland, Desford
The walk-in aviaries will be functioning on a one in, one out system and the walk-through aviary will be open. The parrot path / bird handling section will be open, but there will be a limit on visitors.
Paradise Found Educational Farm Park, Sapcote
No booking is required.
Armourgeddon Tank Paintball, Husbands Bosworth
The site will be opening extra days.
Twinlakes Park, Melton
Tickets will initially be released until Sunday, May 16.
Social Climbing, Leicester
Bookings are being taken.
Stonehurst Family Farm, Mountsorrel
Reopening on Tuesday.
Charnwood Forest Alpacas, Boundary
Alpaca, horse, donkey and sheep experiences are set to begin again on Friday, April 16.
Great Central Railway, Loughborough
Weekend passenger trains are due to return from Saturday, April 17.
Four steam-hauled trains will be operating every Saturday and Sunday and selected weekdays until May 16.
