Plea to visitors to water park

-

WATER park bosses have issued a plea to visitors to stick to face mask rules after reopening.

Bosworth Water Park has been busy since it started welcoming visitors back from Monday, March 29.

A post on the venue’s page on Facebook said it has been a “successful” return but urged visitors to stick to lockdown rules.

It said a number of Covid-19 measures have been put in place to

“eliminate some of problems” experienced during busier periods during the spell of hot weather at the very end of March and urged visitors to play their part.

More facilities at the water park near Hinckley were set to reopen yesterday as more lockdown restrictions were eased.

The Facebook post said: “Our first week back open has been a great success in proving we can all keep to the rules and provide a safe environment for all. We would like to thank all visitors for complying with the regulations to help us protect all customers and staff.

“The measures we put in place have helped eliminate some of problems we had last year, even in the hot spell of weather last week.

“We do, however, need to remind everyone that face coverings unless exempt must be worn in all indoor settings.”

The crazy golf and water hire equipment including pedal boats, pictured, canoes and paddleboards are now available for use.

The post said: “We will also be reopening the caravan site for units with their own self-contained facilities. We look forward to welcoming you soon.”
