Firm hits a milestone in support for hospice
A LOGISTICS specialist has taken the total it has raised for Rainbows hospice to £65,000.
Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Lutterworth, formerly CML, has been supporting the Loughborough children’s hospice since 2007.
The latest donation was a cheque for more than £2,500. Money has been raised through the staff shop and company-wide events, including raffles at Easter and Christmas and various activities, such as dress down days and cake sales.
Emily Wright, corporate partnerships fund-raiser at Rainbows, said: “We’re so grateful to Rhenus for all its support over the years and for raising such an outstanding amount for us.
“At Rainbows, we rely almost entirely on donations to fund the vital care we give to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses and their families throughout the region.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Rhenus who contributed to raising this wonderful amount. Your support will go a long way.”
