You might not be keen to get on a plane for a while after watching the first ten minutes of this high-octane US thriller.
Tense from the off, the opening episode follows Maddie (Rebecca Liddiard) as she misses her scheduled flight to reunite with her fiance, so boards the fateful British Global Air Flight 716.
There’s no long build up here, it’s all fast and furious as the warning signs begin. The pilot seems distracted, an overhead locker pops open and a little girl clutches her teddy... then the captain locks the first officer out of the cockpit and recklessly takes control of the aircraft, which then partly explodes.
Back in London, air crash investigator Kendra Malley (Archie Panjabi), above, is called in to find the plane and see if any of its passengers survived.
