Dave Ellison-Lee, director of education at the trust, added: “Having worked with Belgrave St Peter’s during the transition to joining, I’m really happy they are now part of the family.

“I look forward to working with the team to bring out the best in the school over the coming months.”

Vikki Kenney, head teacher at Belgrave St Peter’s, said: “We are a multi-ethnic, multi-faith and multicultural school that applies Christian values to our mission.

“We are proud to serve our community, for the benefit of people of all faiths and of none.
