Yodel continues to deliver for Tigers

YODEL, the nationwide delivery firm, has extended its sponsorship deal for the North Stand at the Leicester Tigers Stadium.

The 10,000 capacity Yodel Stand will be rebranded this summer ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Yodel chief commercial officer Sam Holden said: “After an incredible Premiership title win, we are extremely proud to be partnering with the Leicester Tigers for a third year, sponsoring the North Stand at the Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium and being the official delivery partner for the club’s online shop.

“With four of our depots in the area, we’re happy to play a part in helping Tigers fans get the performance they deserve when it comes to receiving their merchandise ready for matchdays.

“We are big fans of the team and can’t wait to continue serving the loyal Leicester Tigers fanbase for another year.”

Mark Davies, head of business development at Leicester Tigers, said: “Yodel are already the club’s Official Delivery Partner and we are delighted that they are expanding their current partnership by becoming the official North Stand partner.

“What will now be known as The Yodel Stand has become a prominent feature of the Tigers home and is one of the most recognisable stands across club rugby.

Last month, Tigers celebrated a record 11th Premiership Rugby win after a nail biting match against Saracens at Twickenham, pictured.

Tens of thousands of Leicester fans watched as the win made the Tigers the most successful side in the history of the competition.
