REBEKAH Vardy said she would take Wagatha Christie rival Coleen Rooney out for a coffee if she saw her on the street.

The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy revealed the surprise olive branch after losing her High Court libel case last week.

The 40-year-old, who claims to be suffering from PTSD due to the public onslaught from the trial , said “life is too short”.

She said she was afraid to be home alone following the feud, which was triggered in 2019 after her rival carried out a “sting operation” on Instagram.

Coleen previously said she held no “ill will” against her fellow WAG following the verdict last week.

Rebekah has given her first interview on TalkTV since the ruling and previews showed her becoming very emotional as she declares she “didn’t do it”.

She said she received an excessive amount of trolling from the public in recent months – including being insulted in the stands while watching her husband play football.

The mother-of-five made the shock claim and revealed “life is too short” for her to hold grudges and deal with bitterness, explaining she’s “not that person”, adding that she would “take her to [Coleen] Café Nero” to hash things out.

Speaking to The Sun, she continued: “That is not me. I am not that person. The whole thing has been awful. At its worst, I was worried to be on my own, to leave the house. I was scared to be out in public places.”

Rebekah remains adamant Justice Karen Steyn “got it wrong” after she was found guilty of leaking Coleen’s information to the press.

The decision marked an end to the two-and-a-half-year feud, which

started when Coleen, 36, said she had carried out a sting operation and accused Rebekah’s account of leaking “false stories” about her private life in a now viral Instagram post.

Speaking to journalist Kate McCann in an interview teaser clip aired on Tuesday night, Rebekah said: “I will say that ‘til I’m blue in the face. I did not do it” and in response to another question, she said: “I feel let down by a lot of people, a lot of things. But most importantly I feel let down by the legal system.”

She’s later seen breaking down in tears as she sobs: “I’m going to cry!”
