Vote for party that wants peacemaking

-

SO the country is apparently on a war footing, according to the Tories!

This is because, we are told, the “world is now a very dangerous place”.

Well, who would have guessed it? Well, obviously not Tory voters and those who voted Brexit for the weakening of the largest democratically run continent on the planet.

Economic and political stability across countries runs hand in hand with peace and prosperity.

The blood being shed in Ukraine and Israel is the direct result of the failure of individual nations to come together and to unite against the forces of evil.

This jingoistic flag waving by the Tory Party appealing to the terminally hard of nationalist thinking has to be firmly stamped on.

As does the idea that a bankrupt country like the UK should spend its way to absolution from its policy cock-ups in the past.

The world is a dangerous place because of the failure of properly run nations to club together and deal with rogue nations on their doorsteps, not because we haven’t spent enough trying to blast our neighbours to oblivion.

Instead of this country leading the way in Ukraine and Israel, we have, under the Tories, become a cause of these conflicts ourselves.

Sunak and co appealing to a nationalist spirit by spending more of our hard-earned cash unnecessarily is, quite frankly, an abomination.

If people want to be patriotic next week and in the General Election (if it is ever called), they should vote for a party that believes in democracy and community and wants to place this nation at the forefront of peacemaking across the globe.

Let the Tories and the other delinquents in Reform bang their silly little drums for more war, more nationalism and more selfinterest.

The world is only a dangerous place because of people like them. Vote Labour next week.
