How long does it take you to get ready for a party?

If it’s a proper dress-up do, at least an hour and a half, but I never come out looking like I’ve spent that long! I don’t put on lots of make-up – my look is very natural. But I’ll do a scrub, use a face mask and have a long bath with Micheline Arcier oils, so I feel good going out and, hopefully, that glows from inside.

Do you prefer heels or flats? Depends. I always wear wedges rather than heels. I’m a bit of a Dick Emery – not very good on my feet. I take trainers in my handbag too, because I love to dance, no matter what I’m wearing.

Which music gets you moving? I love all kinds of music, but I’m a real hip-hop girl.

What did you love most about 2016? My daughter getting into music academy to study vocals.

And what did you loathe?

Brexit. That’s really done me in.

Finally, can you recall your most memorable New Year’s Eve ever? Turtle Beach, Tobago, about 12 years ago, giving it large. It really was an absolute blinder…
